Fukuharu is one of the restaurants at TERRACE @ Hock Choon, a new dining place converted from a bungalow along Jalan Ampang. The actual location of the building is on Lorong Nibong, which is behind Hock Choon Supermarket and oppposite SuCasa Hotel on Jalan Ampang.

There are currently 3 F&B outlets operating at TERRACE @ Hock Choon: Fukuharu 福春 (Japanese restaurant), Il Divo Ristorante Italiano (Italian restaurant) and Cafe at TERRACE (serving illy coffee). There will more restaurants and bars opening up, namely Berliner Stube (German restaurant), IR 1980 (Indonesian restaurant), Cellar at TERRACE, Cigar Bar at TERRACE, Single Malt Lounge at TERRACE and Poolside Bar at TERRACE.

The restaurant is somehow still under renovation.

“Can I have the menu, please?” “Sure” the waitress replied and moved a menu board over.

We didn’t order from the menu. Instead, we let the captain to decide for us. He recommended us to take the chef’s set menu of the day which included sashimi, soup, fried dish, cooked dish, dessert, etc.

The above set menu was only RM88 per person. That’s a very attractive figure.

We had a bottle of Bouchard Pere & Fils too.

We were later invited to Cafe at TERRACE for a cup of coffee.

Complimentary latte for her.

Complimentary coffee for me.

I was walking around outside the building when the owner (or the manager) came to me. He showed me around and told me their future openings. When we were on the way back to my table, he popped up a question: “Are you going to write something good about us?”. I looked at him with big eyes. He then said: “I know you. You are food blogger. I recognise your face. I read your blog before.”

El… paiseh, I’m not a food blogger, still far from the standard of “food blogger”. ahmok.com is simply an online photo album of my daily life.

Anyway, really appreciated Fukuharu’s warm service and its excellent food served. I’ll definitely come back again here, as well as visit the other outlets at TERRACE @ Hock Choon.
