ahmok.com Picture of the Day.

Santa sent me some Christmas gifts via DHL / Borderlinx. I’m seriously impressed with Borderlinx service.
Borderlinx is a global courier service exclusively for Citibank card holders (I’m not in fact, someone ordered these for me). Due to some restrictions in US, some US online stores do not ship internationally. Thus, goods (especially electronic items) ordered from online stores like Amazon are sent to Borderlinx suite with a US address and then Borderlinx will take care of the rest.
It took only 5 days (including Saturday and Sunday) to deliver all the items from the Borderlinx suite address to my Malaysia address.

What am I to do if I am not a Citibank card holder but still want to shop on US websites because it is cheaper?

There are other companies that offer parcel forwarding services, ship through DHL, and do not have card holder requirements.
Here are a few to look into on your own:
Note: I’ve actually tried them all and now use Bongo.
http://www.BongoUS.com – Great technology, great customer service, great prices.
http://www.usa2me – ok technology, good customer service, high prices with additional fuel added when you ship
http://www.usglobalmail.com – older technology/website, good customer service, high prices

I actually recommend Viaddress.com at http://www.viaddress.com .
They offer the lowest shipping rates according to the shipping calculators on all these sites.
Their Package forwarding service and Concierge Service are both FREE.
They also have the biggest Personal shopper service in the US on Ebay.com.
I always use them to shop from ebay or other sites when the seller doesn’t ship outside the US.
